NFC Products

We now offer NFC (near-field communication) Products. Cards, wristbands, stickers and more. These are great for any market and have various uses.

The cards can be used:

  • To Connect - allowing for quick social media check-in when visiting an establishment.

  • To Pay - a classic way to pay and works by reading your credit card information and transmitting it to the banking system.

  • To Get information - this idea is quite promising for smart parking. Some drivers still feel frustrated when it comes to using smart parking, so NFC may help them get clear instructions and automatically download the corresponding app to their smartphones. Electric Vehicles are also using this technology to pay when they charge.

  • For entertainment - theatres and cinemas may use NFC and offer users the opportunity to instantly order tickets in one click bypassing lines and satisfying the impulsive desire to attend an event.

  • For shopping - an approach for retailers and wholesalers that can develop an NFC shopping application and allow buyers to get information on the products, compare their prices, and add them to the shopping cart to complement the in-store shopping experience.

  • For access control - can be used for checking-in; for example, companies may use NFC for employee presence control, work time tracking, and access management by obliging them to use their smartphones every time they arrive at work, get started with certain tasks, or access vulnerable information.

What is NFC in a nutshell?

It is a technology that allows devices like phones and smartwatches to exchange small bits of data with other devices and read NFC-equipped cards over relatively short distances. The technology behind NFC is very similar to radio-frequency identification (RFID) commonly used in the security cards and keychain fobs that you likely already use to get into your office or gym. In fact, NFC is an evolution of RFID that offers more advanced features and better security, but the two technologies still share a lot of things in common.
